Gaming smartphones are gaining more and more popularity and this is obvious, because almost every second person spends time playing mobile games. Lenovo recently introduced Legion Phone Duel 2, its flagship gaming microphone that will help you enjoy quality gaming. Another equally attractive flagship was released by Xiaomi – Mi 11 Ultra. We will compare these two smartphones and find out which one provides the best gaming experience.
The Xiaomi mobile device has a standard look, while the Lenovo smartphone has a bolder design. On the back there is a camera, a glowing company logo and a cooling system. In addition, the smartphone has a retractable camera, which is very convenient for streaming. The Legion Phone Duel 2 has game triggers on the back, and the Mi 11 Ultra sadly doesn’t include this feature. In terms of build quality, the Xiaomi flagship is made of more durable materials and has an IP68 waterproof rating.
An interesting display for games is offered by a mobile device from Lenovo. Particularly pleasing is its high refresh rate up to 144Hz and its 6.92-inch wide screen. In other respects, the Mi 11 Ultra outperforms its competitor. It offers excellent Quad HD + quality support, HDR10 certification and accurate color reproduction with high contrast. In addition, an additional screen is installed on the back of the smartphone, which is especially convenient when taking selfies.
Specifications and software
Both flagships are powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset, the Snapdragon 888 with 16GB + 512GB of storage. Thanks to this processor, you can play your favorite games without worrying about performance. Both devices are equipped with Android 11. The Legion Phone Duel 2 offers better cooling than its rival.
There is no doubt that the Mi 11 Ultra has the best main camera. On the rear panel there is a module with three lenses, the main one is presented at 50MP and two additional ones at 48MP. Its rival boasts only two 64MP and 16MP lenses. But Lenovo’s flagship offers more interesting front-facing capabilities. It has a 44MP selfie camera which can be especially useful for streaming.
The Legion Phone Duel 2 has a more capacious 5500mAh battery, as opposed to its 5000mAh competitor. Of course, the difference is not that significant, but the Lenovo smartphone can last a little longer. Plus, it comes with 90W faster charging power. Even though the Mi 11 Ultra has a slightly slow battery charging speed, you only need one cable, unlike its rival. In addition, the Xiaomi device supports wireless charging technology.
Currently, both flagships have not yet entered the Russian market, the cost of Legion Phone Duel 2 is from 1200 dollars (90.600 rubles) for 16GB + 512GB. Mi 11 Ultra is available to order at GIZTOP with worldwide delivery from 1099 dollars (83.000 rubles).
To be fair, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is a great flagship and packs in a lot of great features. But in our comparison, the flagship from Lenovo deservedly leads with gaming triggers, a pop-up front camera and a modern cooling process. If you are a big fan of games, then Legion Phone Duel 2 will definitely appeal to you.
