Maps in Legends of Runeterra

Let’s start with the basics: this CCG has two types of cards – units and spells. They all require mana. Units are divided into champions and followers. These cards have damage and health. There can only be one copy of a champion on a table. Cards are categorized as explosive, fast, instant, and slow. Let’s figure it out in more detail:

  • Explosive spells – give the effect immediately, the enemy will not be able to answer
  • Instant spells – similar to explosive, triggered after the rally; the opponent cannot see the card while you are targeting
  • Fast spells – the opponent will be able to give an answer to such a card
  • Slow spells – such cards are laid out if the player has not yet managed to do anything

Modes in Legends of Runeterra

There are three options here, which can be subdivided into sub-options. Let’s consider them in more detail:

  • Against the player – everything is clear here, we are fighting against people like us. This mode will be divided into normal and rating. In the latter, we get points for winning and lose them for losing.
  • Against AI – if you are not confident in your abilities, then you can try a new deck against a bot that will not scoff at your first steps in Legends of Runeterra
  • Expeditions – we build a deck of those cards that the game gives us. Then we play against players with the same “collected on the go” decks. The goal is to score seven wins. If you lose two games in a row, then the expedition ends
